Butcher Block / Harvest Table

This butcher block is constructed of 6 inch oak and ash with a very sturdy turned oak base. The patterns are based upon the dynamic properties of the wood and are arranged in a geometric pattern. These two pictures show the various stages of development. First, the blocks are glued and clamped together with a non-toxic glue. Next, the top is leveled and flattened prior to the edges being rounded and non-toxic butcher block finish being applied.
