All wood creations are unique because:

• Pieces are only created when a customer requests it.
• Every customer has their own unique ideas of what they want to experience in the furniture Our customer's vision becomes our muse.
• Rarely does nature produce two identical pieces of wood. (Check out some samples of our woods !)
• We personally select every material directly from the source.

At Custom Furniture Creations all material is selected directly from sawmills in rural Ohio. This picture is the Amish mill where most lumber is cut to order and hauled to Custom Furniture Creation's own drying kilns. We use a truck, not these two big boys ! At our kiln, the drying of the fresh cut lumber is controlled to obtain exactly the result that is desired. As a result of a specific customer's request wood is selected directly from the mill for a specific commissioned piece.  We will even use trees from a customer's property if requested. Wouldn't it be to have a beautiful desk, table or other memorable piece of furniture that was crafted from a tree  removed from your own property ?

I, John Rose, have worked for many years at my craft and am always striving to expand my range. It's been 20 years since I crafted my first furniture creation (a mahogany coffee table that I still own) and since then I have continued my dedication to bringing out the beauty in a piece of wood that only nature can create. I understand that, like people, every tree is unique. I truly believe I am able to coach the grandeur and uniqueness out of wood much like a sports coach or a mentor strives to bring out the potential within a person.
